How Braid Pricing Works on Wevaz: Deposits, Balances and Add-Ons
A plain-English breakdown of how a Wevaz quote is built, what the deposit covers, and what you pay on the day.
Every price on Wevaz Hair Braiding is set by the braider who will actually do your hair, and it is shown in full before you book. There are no surprise platform fees added at checkout.
A quote is built from four things: the style (knotless, boho, box, feed-in, twists), the size of the braid, the length, and any add-ons such as curly ends, beads, or a takedown of an old style. Change any one of those and the total updates on screen before you continue.
When you book, you pay a 25% deposit through Stripe to hold the appointment, calculated on the braiding service price only. That deposit is not an extra charge โ it comes off your service total. The remaining 75% balance, plus any hair or add-on charges, is paid directly to your braider at the appointment.
Duration matters as much as price. Most installs run between three and nine hours, and the estimate is shown next to each option so you can pick a start time that fits your day. Longer lengths and smaller braids sit at the top of that range.
Two habits keep your final cost predictable: arrive with your hair washed and stretched so the install doesn't run long, and confirm whether hair is included with your braider before the day. Both details are listed on every service, and asking through the message thread keeps the answer in writing.
